St. Alphonsa Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Mysore, is a premier institution dedicated to excellence in healthcare education. All three programmes are four-year undergraduate (B.Sc.) courses affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and recognised by the Government of Karnataka. Department of Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology
Taught by the Department of Anaesthesia Technology, led by Dr Reshma (Professor & HOD) with Damini H S (Lecturer).
Facilities used: the college Operation Theatre, with clinical exposure through hands-on training in Mysore’s leading healthcare centres and multi-specialty hospitals.

Subject areas of the department: Microbiology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy and Pharmacology. Faculty include Professors & HODs of Pathology and Anatomy, and Lecturers in Pathology, Physiology and Microbiology.

We have clearly laid down our vision, mission and values and efforts shall be made to utilize the infrastructural facilities and intellectual capital to achieve these goals and values. It shall be our endeavour to prepare allied health professionals with a sound educational programme so that they may serve the institutions, patients with extra care and meet the basic health needs of the community.
We are conscious of the changing needs of society, hence, we shall emphasize on imparting education and training to the students beyond the prescribed syllabus to make them good human beings & professionals also. The curriculum will be flexible enough to keep pace with changes that take place from time to time in the field of allied health sciences and patient care.

Get the application formFill out the PDF application form in capital letters and upload it with your digital certificates.
Selection is through a CET entrance test and counselling session conducted in English.
The exam includes objective and subjective questions with no negative marking.
Bring original 10th and 12th marks cards, Aadhaar card, Transfer Certificate, and 5 colour photos.
Pay the first instalment via DD, NEFT, or online payment. Fees are non-refundable once the course begins.
